rajon rondo. the single, driving force that let the boston celtics to an unbelievable performance against the supposingly “invincible” cleveland cavaliers, with them winning 97-87, tying the series to two games a piece.
29 points, 18 rebounds, 13 assists, and 2 steals. this was rajon rondo’s 4th career playoff triple double, and as espn states,
where they put the young, budding 24-year old as sunday’s best. but even rondo is humble, as he is quoted:
“My numbers tonight were what they were, but we still go through the Big Three,” he said. “They’re the main focal point. That’s why I’m able to get so many open looks and be so aggressive.”
either way, i can’t wait for the cavs to get knocked out. its not secret i despise lebrick (ahem, i meant lebron) james, and any knock against him is always a great one. although, it’s gonna be interesting to see in game 5 as it is reported that lebrick is going to (attempt to) guard rondo, while freeing up paul pierce. this may spark pierce, who has had so far a sub-par performance this series, to break out and show why him and the other two of the big three (that being ray allen and kevin garnett) will be in the hall of fame someday.
boston in seven.
tell me how rondo is too slicck
