ny knicks kick off the 2nd half vs. the cleveland cavaliers. can jeremy lin win it all?

leggooooooooooooo!

rajon rondo. the single, driving force that let the boston celtics to an unbelievable performance against the supposingly “invincible” cleveland cavaliers, with them winning 97-87, tying the series to two games a piece.

29 points, 18 rebounds, 13 assists, and 2 steals. this was rajon rondo’s 4th career playoff triple double, and as espn states,

Whenever you do something that has you mentioned in the same sentence as all-time greats Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson, this spot in the Dime is automatically reserved for you.

where they put the young, budding 24-year old as sunday’s best. but even rondo is humble, as he is quoted:

“My numbers tonight were what they were, but we still go through the Big Three,” he said. “They’re the main focal point. That’s why I’m able to get so many open looks and be so aggressive.”

either way, i can’t wait for the cavs to get knocked out. its not secret i despise lebrick (ahem, i meant lebron) james, and any knock against him is always a great one. although, it’s gonna be interesting to see in game 5 as it is reported that lebrick is going to (attempt to) guard rondo, while freeing up paul pierce. this may spark pierce, who has had so far a sub-par performance this series, to break out and show why him and the other two of the big three (that being ray allen and kevin garnett) will be in the hall of fame someday.

boston in seven.

the orlando magic spank the atlanta hawks (again), after showing them a basketball clinic from the last 5.3 seconds of the 3rd quarter to the end of the game. after falling behind initially, they finish the game 112-98 to win it 2-0 so far in the east semi-finals.

will the orlando magic continue to ride a loss-less postseason to the finals? can we finally agree that the magic may still be too much for the cleveland cavaliers to handle (and that’s if they make it past the resilient boston celtics)? because i think the magic will make it to the finals again…

let’s go derrick rose + chicago bulls - out of all the matchups, the (1) vs (8) seeds in both the eastern conference and western conference are going to be intense. intense on the west coast b/c i love the lakers, and intense on the east b/c i hate the cavs. lol

but in all seriousness, the bulls can pull an upset. how? henrick, rose, noah, deng are more then a scoring matchup for the majority of the team on the cavs. shaq’s old, and without lebron the cavs are a sub-par team.

this game will be key on inside game and rebounding, while keeping the cavs pace down to a slow pace.
