i love christmas.
mariah carey, jimmy fallon, the roots, and some special guest stars utilize classroom instruments to do their own take of “all i want for christmas is you”.
paul van dyk - “for an angel” symphony orchestra
first off, “for an angel” is one of the original songs that introduced me to the euphoric pleasures of progressive trance. second, paul van dyk is absolutely killing it in this live, symphony “cover” of one of his most well known classic songs.
jimmy fallon, the roots, carly rae jepsen - “call me maybe (classroom instruments cover)”
as much as i hate this song, the roots and jimmy fallon get props for this.
martin solveig - “the night out (live at studio ferber)”
a live remix (and better sound than the original) of the song “the night out”, which is actually a cover of a remix done by madeon of the original song. notice the piano riffs and excellent disco-esqe pop-infused sounds that accompany the song.
thanks to kyle good for sending me the song.
